  3. ngrey651 This episode was about them whining about Disney. The creators are upset over Disney buying Star Wars and thus ruining its, and I quote "impeccable legacy." While saying Obama wasn't actually elected fairly. Y'know what, Matt and Trey? Screw you for not actually taking a real political stance on ANYTHING! All you do is laugh at people on both sides without ever taking a real stance on real issues. I have more respect for people like Romney, he actually has a real stance on issues like Abortion, immigration, etc. You never actually say"this point of view is right and the other is wrong" which, for the record, is what truth is about, some exclusion.

    And really?! You don't like Disney getting Stat Wars?! Lucas is, as he said, passing on the reins of the series to other filmmakers. He said he wants the series to "outlive" him. In a way...you could argue this is a natural evolution of filmmaking and the like. Once a story like Star Wars has been told in the theater, it isn't just uniquely Lucas's "thing". It belongs to all of us who were effected by it. And as time goes on, more and more of it is claimed by others who were touched by the good...or bad...it can do. This is just an extension. Star Wars is no longer officially "his" in the way it used to be. Now it belongs to others. And it will belong to others still long after we're gone, people telling different stories within the universe for years to come, all as legitimate and, hopefully, memorable, as the first movies were to us.

    If this can produce genuinely good movies, we should welcome this change.     Reply
