triplemultiplex Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion So far this episode has gone pretty much how I expected. Except for the return to the inter-sibling violence between Stan and Shelly. That's a nice surprise.

I suppose we couldn't go through an entire run without having the town riot for some reason.
Also, I think it's funny that a small town like South Park has a Mac Store. reply -
Butterslover21 Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion i am watching it right now and it is pretty damn good! reply

-
HAcoreRD Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion Minus Randy masturbating, this episode is boring. reply

-
Kangurah Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion Haha, Grapes of Wrath, very nice reply

-
Stanley_Marsh109 Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion So far, so crappy.

I saw the Grapes of Wrath/Silicon Valley thing coming a long time ago. The porn thing was kinda funny though. reply -
HAcoreRD Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion the drawings were good, but lack of emotion from Kyle, no Wendy or Cartman...what the hell? Stan isn't even doing too much, but I love the big Router.

They seriously cut K/K/C asking stan why he was leaving? They just appeared watching the marshes drive off at the start.
Let me guess, Cartman killed the internet? Maybe Crabpeople? reply -
triplemultiplex Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion Internet Porn Simulator; that was great.

I little Close Encounters action there in that last scene with The Internet. I like how The Internet looks like a giant server. And then the thing with the blinking light. Nerdy comedy. reply -
Parjuk Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion lol i love the noises of the porn on the internet omg...i am laughing still reply

-
ecartman147 Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion This episode sucked ass. I only laughed when randy had cum all over the place. reply

-
Stanley_Marsh109 Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion Wow, other than Lice Capades, that was the worst episode in recent memory. This season has really been boring- long on plot, short on jokes. reply

-
Parjuk Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion lol funny. i enjoyed the episode. Treat the internet with RESPECT (pound fist on the podium)! and only use the internet for porn twice a day, and you can start having sex at 17, 17. reply

-
HAcoreRD Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion Randy covered in jizz was great, otherwise lack luster, no Wendy, no Cartman, Kyle and Stan were basically background. Nice to see Shelly and Stan fighting again and the big ass router needing to be rebooted, but lack luster.

6/10 reply -
Kensuke Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion It just plain sucked. The only funny part was Randy pleasuring himself and releasing his Love Nectar all over the place and blaming a ghost. South park Should really start making episodes centered around all four boys. (Stan Kyle Cartman and Kenny, not Stan Kyle Cartman and Butters.)

4/10 reply -
Delilah Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion I thought this episode was so, so. Some parts were really funny, like the porn thing, but there were lots of boring parts, too. And, the boys didn't really do much. I long for those wonderful kids being kids episodes, with all four boys getting into deep shit. What ever happened to those? 7/10 reply

triplemultiplex Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion I don't care who you are, that scene where they all bust in on Randy was frickin' hilarious.

Kyle's solution was silly, but not overly funny. He just unplugs and replugs the power to that giant router or server or whatever the fuck you call that. Must be a router, because it looks kind of like the one sitting on my desk right now.
Anyway, this one had it's moments but on the whole it feels like they were coasting a little this late in the run. It seems like there should've been another scene between Randy's explosion and his little speech at the end. Pardon the pun, but I think they could've milked a few more jokes out of that situation. reply -
kylestanfan Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion This episode was fucking. amazing.

Randy waiting for Sharon to leave so he could have a fap, such a guy lol
Shelley beating up Stan because she couldn't IM her BF was so great. Though, at the end, when they met at the camp...was that intended to represent the awkwardness that happens when Internets friends meet?
Randy claiming that massive amount of spooge all over the trailer was ectoplasm was fucking total win.
I was a little put off at the black and white scenes...don't really understand why they couldn't have them in colour except for the fact that they wanted their Grapes reference to be clear...
The best part, though?
CARTMAN WAS ONLY IN TWO SCENES AND NEVER SPOKE!

Disgustipated Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion I'm right there with you kylestanfan, I loved this episode from start to finish. 9/10 for me easily, best since Major Boobage.

The only dull part was the black and white scene, just didn't find it interesting. But Randy was funny as hell in this episode. Another classic Randy ep, I hope to see more positive reviews! reply -
SirKerrek Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion I simply cannot believe how South Park keeps pushing that bar. I thought Randy covered in jizz was so f***ing hilarious, and I'd be fairly surprised if they re-aired that part. Wow. I thoroughly enjoyed the Grapes of Wrath/Encounters of a Third Kind parody, and I felt like this episode delivered on most other accounts.

Bad stuff: virtually no Cartman, Kenny, or Butters. Oh well, you can't have everything you want. Also, the second act was relatively unfunny, but it pulled together nicely in the third.
I'm gonna say 9/10 and the best since Major Boobage. reply -
wubbles Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion One of my favorite all-time episodes. Probably because I'm such a heavy internet user myself. But dammit, that was hilarious. Not a moment went by when I wasn't laughing. Two weeks in a row where episodes have left me in tears. Amazing! reply

KennyMcCookie Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion God damn it! I missed the episode. *waits for it to be posted online* reply

-
Michaeloptv Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion I want to see an episode with all of the boys!!!

This episode was in Eric Cartman's words: "Lame"
The only good parts were Randy's porn fanatic and Shelly beating up Stan.
Kyle should have been used more, and unpluging was just kinda too little.
3.5/10 reply -
Rinoa Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion I thought it was pretty good, but there were a few things that bothered me. For one thing, after watching the Kyle-moves-to-California episode right beforehand, the lack of emotion from anyone at Stan's family leaving was weird. I was kind of hoping the boys would fight to get Stan back and go on a big adventure. The Grapes of Wrath parody worked for me, though, and Randy's internet porn addiction was classic. The simulator and the spooge scene were both hilarious. I liked seeing Shelly, too. Just wish there'd been more of the boys, I guess. reply

Disgustipated Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion Seriously, 3.5's, 2's?! It's that bad? Trust me, there's much worse television out there. It can't be that bad. reply

Marjax Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion It was an alright episode. Not great, but certainly not the worst this season. It had more laughs than any episode since Major Boobage. One more before a few months break, hope they can end it on a high note. reply

southparktechie Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion YES! All I have to say is I loved it ! ! I know it may seem boring to some, but this one reached out to me. I work for tech support for a cable, internet, and phone company. I enjoyed watching this show because this is exactly how people act when their internet is down. Not many people try to do that simple thing Stan tried.

Everyone has a need on the internet. Just like his sister to talk to her boyfriend. Just like the mother and the email. Just like the father and his porn. And Stan for his homework. I have heard them all ! ! ! Believe me.
The thought kept rumbling through my head about powercycling the router. I kept saying go unplug it and plug back in. The 9 year old knew how to do it. Do you know why? It is because the children know how to work the internet better than the older people. It is true! I would rather talk to a teenager on the phone for troubleshooting than an adult. There are many joke videos out there where people are talking to children for over the phone tech support and they knowing what to do.
The greatest joke is the one bar of signal. I have heard so many people reference their signal levels when trying to get online. That is the connection to the router, not the internet. I loved the humor in this piece to display this. In reality, if they had just bypassed the router, they could still have got on.
And finally, the last part I would like to mention is the fact that "everyone moved West." The internet connection broke so everyone packed up to a place that had it. This is true for any company. People will leave an internet company just because the service isn't working even without trying to get it fixed. They will "pack up and leave." And the ironic part is they had no reason to leave. All the internet needed was a reboot to the router. Same thing with many customers. It is usually on their end, not the internet service providers.
I had my fun. Thanks! reply -
chel Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion I'm not usually one to say I don't like a South Park episode.

BUT,
this is not one of my favorites.
I mean, I even smoked a B before and I didn't laugh.
The grapes of wrath reference and the jizz all over the shot made me smirk.
The only thing that made me not completely hate this episode was the fact that they were able to get away with so much. I mean, Randy jacked off so much in this episode!
Anyway.
Peacy Peace. reply -
southparktechie Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion *And not to forget the 2 girls and 1 finger joke.* He said he has to look up for japanese girls throwing up in each others mouths. haha. Crazy. reply

inpropagation Re: *1206: Over Logging* Post-Air Discussion haha, episode was good cause it rang some truth... not to mention making me laugh.

come on, how long have you guys been using the internet? didn't it make you go nuts when it stopped working for a day or two? especially back in the old days... this episode finally highlights all our e-addictions. reply
