triplemultiplex Re: *1303: Margaritaville* Post-Episode Discussion A lot of build-up in the first act; like they're building up to something that could be good.

Randy turns the economy into a religion. And his idea of saving is only making things worse.
And there goes fatass again with his anti-semitic retardedness. I love hating that piece of shit.
They're setting up Kyle to be Jesus in Randy's religion. reply -

RideTheLightning Re: *1303: Margaritaville* Post-Episode Discussion I'm really digging this episode. It's like an old episode: good fun, stupid random humor, it all takes place with the town, but it's also a bit political and serious like season's 5-9. I'm loving this episode. Oh and Kenny looked badass. reply

triplemultiplex Re: *1303: Margaritaville* Post-Episode Discussion Okay, this episode just got way better in act 2. The townsfolk throwing squirrels at Garrison and Kyle going all New Testament on them was just great.

Liked the guy dressed as a Roman soldier because he just lost his job at Little Caesars.
But I think I'm going to hate what Cartman's going to do in act 3. reply -
psnthewell12 Re: *1303: Margaritaville* Post-Episode Discussion I want Cartman saying "Did somebody say catch a Jew?" as a ringtone reply

gtaca2005 Re: *1303: Margaritaville* Post-Episode Discussion I thought of that long ago:

Pay everyone's debt in the country.
I'm sure it would cost less than all the bailouts and what-not going on now. reply -

Damn, don't be too pissed. They were making fun of something that hasn't even happened yet, dude. reply -
gtaca2005 Re: *1303: Margaritaville* Post-Episode Discussion I like how they took a stab at religion to by saying the economy is an idea made up by people.

Faith economy = faith in religion. reply -
ShaneHaughey Re: *1303: Margaritaville* Post-Episode Discussion I don't think he was angry, and i think you're looking at it too hard GTA.

I have yet to see the ep. Levels of Stan? reply -
triplemultiplex Re: *1303: Margaritaville* Post-Episode Discussion Phew, they didn't rely on Cartman being a dick to Kyle to resolve this one.

That scene in the Treasury Department with the chicken was easily the funniest scene, but there was a lot of great, great stuff with Jesus-Kyle. The last supper scene at the pizza place; Kyle "sacrificing himself" for everyone.
Stan's story with the Margaritaville kind of sputtered along until the big payoff at the Treasury. But the main plot with Kyle and Randy and the econo-ligion was really good.
Season 13 is doing really frickin good thus far. reply -
Wishful_Thinking Re: *1303: Margaritaville* Post-Episode Discussion I haven't been on this site for a while due to the disappointing new episodes, but my faith has been restored again.

It's official, Kyle is the Lisa Simpson of South Park: intelligent, but never given credit for ANYTHING, haha. I loved the comparison of the economy to the story of Jesus. It's nice seeing Kyle with a prominent role in an episode, I was starting to miss him.
And the restoration of the economy being attributed to Barack Obamessiah? Awesome. It's sad that if such a thing happened in real life, half of America would say that Obama is the savior, whatever.
Two thumbs up! (wow, I haven't though that in a looong while) reply -

At the end of the ep...
SPOILER ALERT!!!
They give the credit to Obama, even though Kyle solved it. Since the economy isn't getting better, this hasn't happened yet, so that's why I said it. reply -

Agreed. I was actually amazed at Kyle's speech throughout the whole Economy stuff. reply -
intentional or not Re: *1303: Margaritaville* Post-Episode Discussion Good episode. It was nice to have a Kyle episode not driven by something Cartman did.

And I loled at the priest bringing up the stupidity of someone omnipotent only being able to have one son because I think M&T have brought that up in a couple interviews.
All in all, I'm pleased with the season so far. reply -
Kaybeexx Nice. Fantastic episode!! It reminded me of the some of the past seasons, which is great. I loved the biblical references mixed in with the randomized jokes we love the show so much for. This was just perfect.

I can't wait until next week!! reply
