Diabeteth Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Cartman mentioned Casa Bonita. That made me smile.

First act is pretty solid. Stan's experiences with Facebook so far pretty much mirrors mine... with the exception that I quickly just said, "SCREW IT!" and refused to do anything more. The fights with Wendy are pretty much reality, when it comes to Facebook. Some people actually organize their lives though Facebook now and assume everyone else does, too.
I hate FarmVille, by the way. Reply -
triplemultiplex Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Good job at having everyone get all serious about the banal minutia on Facebook. So glad I'm not into that shit. Wendy jealous of Stan's facebook friend who's 92 is the perfect example.

Fatass as Jim Kramer was just hilarious. It fits Cartman all too well. Hope to see more of that. Reply -

triplemultiplex Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion To find a good friend, you've gotta wade through a lot of dicks.

That was perfect. I barely heard the next bit of dialogue due to my laughter.
Also loved the misdirection with Stan in his Tron get-up; expecting the speeder bike things, but instead getting Yahtzee. Reply -
mazamataz Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion I have no clue why the hell people are so serious about Facebook. I swear to God I have had the same exact experience that Stan did with that stupid relationship status thing and with my friends being so offended that I didn't join their mafia ring or their farm or whatever the hell they invite me to. But I'm still on there. Jeez.

And, goddamnit, I was SO super close to being pissed off that the second half was going to turn into some huge conspiracy plot, but… it's TRON. Damnit. I can't hate TRON. I can't hate it at all. So that was kickass.
Still. Eh. Okay episode. Reply -
triplemultiplex Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Damn, Stan's got hot hands at Yahtzee.

Pretty satisfying conclusion for Stan at least; albeit not all that funny. Once again, he's the reasonable one surrounded by retardation.
Kyle & Fatass doing Chatroulette was the best part and I guess it was hard to top that for the end.
Well, lookin' forward to the 200th episode next week. Reply -
Diabeteth Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Kyle thought his farm was more important than his real-life best friend's little problem... nice. I would have liked to see Stan completely destroy the stupid farm. As I previously mentioned, I hate FarmVille. I mean, I REALLY hate it. Did I mention I hate it?

That, or watch Stan yell everything I was thinking on his behalf. Something along the lines of how his real-life friends are infinitely more important than fucking FarmVille, and would he JUST HELP ALREADY GODDAMMIT?! Reply -
SweetLikeKiwi Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Oh my God, I freaking LOVED this episode!!! LOVED IT!!! I was like Stan, I was the last of my friends to join Facebook and when I joined, I forgot I had it for like 2 months. However, since moving to USA from England, I now live on Facebook to keep in touch with my friends in England. I just thought the episode was so clever and captured Facebook perfectly, I was laughing constantly. Even my dad and mum were laughing! They're both on Facebook and therefore got all the jokes. Think they were very confused about Chatroulette though, don't think my parents have quite discovered that yet lol.

And poor Kip Drody!! I literally screamed with joy when he got all of Stan's friends.
10/10, my favourite episode ever I think. Reply -
JamesBray Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Really really good. Leaves a good message too. I absolutely loved Cartman in this episode and the Chatroulette part and Randy constantly bugging Stan about who to add "Stan, poke your grandmother". Reply

dmyy20 Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion I loved the irony of the whole episode. Every aspect they brought up of facebook I went "Oh yeah.....went through that" Especially with the whole relationship status shit. That was oh so true.

I personally liked the ending. It had a simpson-type of ending. Ya know where something good actually happens to someone lol
Wish that Stan would have stuck it to Kyle a bit more (aka destroyed most of his farm) but I would settle with pulling out some crops lol
Overall, not as intense laughter as the bouncing balls, but more consistant laugher all the way through. I will watch this episode again, for sure
Also I LOVED the Tron deal. I was unsure how they were going to do it, but was very please with how they executed it. Reply -
cannibalisa Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Friggen BRILLIANT once again!! This episode is now tied with "The List" as my all-time favorite.

Kip at his computer represents everything that's genius about SP. The moment his friends tally goes from 0 to 1 was perfect! No one does those sweet little moments better than South Park.
The English language needs to come up with more superlatives. I'm tired of saying "brilliant" and "genius" over and over.

Noela Rosenkreuz Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion I missed the last couple of minutes of it, so I'll be watching it again shortly. It was crazy and funny, especially when I've seen people really act like that abut Facebook. Personally, I hate Facebook; it's just another MySpace. So I can totally relate to Stan in this ep.

Also thought it was hilarious how Stan always got a Yahtzee; I laughed so hard each time he got one. The Stan profile character was awesome, too. All in all, it was good... much better than last weeks' ep. Reply -
Nebenator Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion The Tron part was alright, but Kyle's story wasn't funny. I would say the South Park needs to step it up, but Medical Fried Chicken was a godly episode (at least compared to the last half and this season)

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I enjoyed Chatroulette and Cartman, they REALLY should've given them more airtime. Hmm... I guess that boosts the episode up to average for me. Reply -
drlcartman Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion did anyone else that we now know stan's birthday? It's like october 17, 2003. I think I missed the date, but I know it was in the teens. Reply

MrRyda Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Awesome episode. Exactly why I refuse to get a Facebook.

I definitely don't wanna get into Chat Roulette now either. Reply -
VACOOLA Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Feel kinda... overlogged, which is not exactly too bad. Looks like Randy's prosthetic balls totally went to his head. Wendy's fake bewbz too

And the funny fact: apparently, Stan's birthday is October 19, 2001. With a little calculation, in 1997, at the beginning of South Park, he was only, say, - 4 years old. Yachtzee! Reply -
jewlover Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion This is now my all time favorite episode. No competition, even from Major Boobage. I think the thing that made me love it most, is that I was just like Stan. I didn't want to join Facebook, then one night at a sleepover my friends made one for me. I didn't do jack shit on it until everyone kept bugging me about Farmville and friend requests. So that was really hillarious for me.

That episode had everything a good episode needed. It had Randy, Casa Bonita, another Jew, cool graphics, great storylines, totally relateable, a just downright funny every minute of it.

AngusMcTavish Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Had a few laughs here and there. Felt sorry for Kyle for a bit, but was more with Stan on this one. I don't even do Facebook, but it's something more personal than his reasons.

To tell you would make your pelvis curl.
ANYWAY...Yeah, pretty good one. LOL'd at the Tron references, even smiled when they showed that kid Kyle "friended."

immav1 Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Now that's classic South Park! I was starting to fear SP had jumped the shark, but that one really rang the bell. I was laughing over some of the lines, so I'll need to watch the replay tonight to see any I missed. When Stan started kicking Kyle's FarmVille crops to death, it absolutely killed!! Wendy getting pissed about Susan92's post "I think you look cute in your bunny costume" has too many parallels in real life for anyone on Facebook with status "In a Relationship". And Randy's "Stan, poke your Grandmother" has got to be a new catchphrase. This will be one of my favorite episodes of all time! Reply

Pegazeus Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Did anyone else legit feel sorry for that kid? For some reason I felt really bad for him when it zoomed in the "You Have 0 Friends." Poor kid. But he got his redemption at the end. Reply

nwt000 Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion 7.6/10

I didn't like how Stan was a douchebag throughout the episode, I liked that Wendy appeared, but she was a complete bitch, the Yahtzee games, Kip, and Mad Friends were really cool too. I hate how Stan never gave into Facebook and that he lost all of his friends. So I guess him and Kyle are done as friends, let alone being Wendy's boyfriend. A happy endingfor Kip, but not for Stan. I am very disappointed in him and he may not even be my favorite character anymore. Dissapointed with Wendy, too. On the bright side, Randy was cool in this episode. Reply -
SirKerrek Re: *1404: You Have 0 Friends* Post-Air Discussion Now, I don't really like getting all analytical... I mean, It's South Park for Chrissakes, but allow me to make one observation.

Last week's show was simpering, inane, and non-sequitir, using head explosions, giant-balls, and fried chicken as modes for jokes. And I loved it.
Now take tonight's show. It was intelligent, super-dense (seriously: Facebook, Chatroulette, Mad Money parody, and Tron), and it had a good heart with a good message. It was not ROFL material, certainly, but it was great. I loved it.
I don't know if it's my blind zombie-esque devotion to the show, or if I'm simply someone who can accept a large range of topics and episode styles... but the fact that South Park can be good both of those ways... kinda just serves as a testament to its awesomeness.
8/10. In my opinion, this run has been really solid so far.
200th next week! Can't wait! Reply
