Question:

May 27, 2010 - Feeling like a Turd Sandwich...I own every season

Feeling like a Turd Sandwich...I own every season of South Park and faintly remember an episode where Mr. Garrison retreats to a cave while questioning his sexuality??? Looking through all 13 seasons myself proves to be a daunting task, Please Help!!!!

Answer

Dear Turd Sandwich,

That's why I'm here. That episode is called "Fourth Grade" (412) and it's actually the episode where Garrison officially comes out of the closet. It's ALSO the episode where the boys move up from third to fourth grade, Timmy travels back in time, and where Ms. Choksondik first debuts. So yeah, it's pretty epic. And you can watch it right here.

Sincerely,
Giant Douche

Dear SPS, I have mixed feelings about the public execution of Pip by Mecha-Striesand in episode 201, but I guess the little French kid had it coming. But don't you think he at least deserves a farewell video-clip-montage?

Answer

No, I don't. You watch this episode and tell me you need any more of Pip. If you do, then watch this episode again.

Question:

May 27, 2010 - Being that i didn't get to see "201", WHO IS CARTM

Being that i didn't get to see "201", WHO IS CARTMAN FATHER??

Answer

Spoiler, spoiler, spoiler. Cartman's father is...a Denver Bronco...named...Jack Tenorman...who is...Scott Tenorman's dad. Holy shit, right? And since you can't watch it right now, I've done you a HUGE solid. Here is the scene where Cartman finds out who his father is, right from the script!

INT. GINGER LAIR -- CIRCUS ROOM - NIGHT

SCOTT TENORMAN
There was a right tackle see, who had an illegitimate child with your SLUT of a mom! And everyone here COVERED it up to protect the Bronco name!

MR. GARRISON
They were having a really good year! There couldn't be any distractions!

CARTMAN
My dad was a Denver Bronco?

From across the table Tenorman leans down and gets in Cartman's face.

SCOTT TENORMAN
Would you like to meet him? Well, you can't. Ever... Cuz you see, Eric. We have something in common. Did I ever tell you that my father... Played for the Denver Broncos?

A little flash in Cartman's eyes.

CARTMAN
No... No...

SCOTT TENORMAN
The only Bronco who lived in South Park. He got a little bored one week and had an affair with a SLUT named LIANE CARTMAN.

CARTMAN'S MOM

SCOTT TENORMAN
TELL HIM! YOU ALMOST DID BEFORE BUT YOU GOT SHOT BY YOUR BROTHER WHO WAS A BRONCO FAN! TELL HIM!!!!

What??? October 6th? It's gonna take forever... I was wondering, does Randy have any balls left???

Answer

Yes, little prosthetic ones. And don't forget about his scrot coat. It was well worth it.

Question:

May 27, 2010 - Where did Trey and Matt get the character ideas fo

Where did Trey and Matt get the character ideas for Butters and Cartman? I've heard were they got Stan, Kyle and Kenny, but those two being so famous, I wonder...

Answer

Well, Cartman is loosely based off someone Matt and Trey knew growing up -- they took that and added a little sprinkle of the biggest asshole in the world. And Butters is loosely based off South Park's Director of Animation/Producer Eric Stough, who they've been friends with for a very, very long time.

Question:

May 27, 2010 - Hey FAQ guy, My question... I love South Park, and

Hey FAQ guy, My question... I love South Park, and I like the animation. Is there a site where I can watch "behind the scenes" on how South Park is made?

Answer

Yes, the site is called South Park Studios, and derp! you're on it. We've done a few Behind The Scenes specials here, all of them tittylating and extremely informative. There's "Behind the Scenes of Major Boobage" about Kenny and his "Major Boobage" trip (1203); "Six Days to South Park: Super Fun Time" about how we made that super phun episode; "Six Days To South Park: About Last Night..." about the Obama election episode; and "Attack of the Guinea-Saurus Rex", which takes you behind-the-scenes for "Pandemic 2: The Startling." I recommend you watch them all, and don't forget to watch them with commentary too -- it's pretty cool to hear the people who made the show talk about how they did it.

Mr. Faq. What is the episode where Stan and Kyle make fun of Mr Mackey's voice?

Answer

Wow, dude. You almost stumped me with that one. Almost. It happens in the very beginning of the old-school classic "Ike's Wee Wee" (204), before Mr. Mackey gives his lecture about drugs. Check it out here, mkay?

Question:

In the episode "Sexual Harassment Panda," wtf is the panda saying during every entrance that he makes? I just can't understand what he is saying in that weird recorded voice.

Answer

Awesome question. And it makes me a happy panda to be able to answer it. Here's the full, official lyrics to his song, right from the script:

"Who lives in the east
neath a willer tree?
Sexual Harassment Panda!
Who explains sexual harassment
To you and me?
Sexual Harassment Panda!
Don't say that
Don't touch there
Don't be nasty
Says that silly bear
He's gonna tell you
What's right and wrong!
Sexual Harassment Panda!"

Dude, where can i find a non-live version of DVDA's " I Am Chewbacca"?

Answer

A bit of the studio version is actually played over the end credits of "Starvin' Marvin in Space" (311). Watch the full episode and you'll get a nice little wookie treat at the end.

Question:

May 20, 2010 - The references to "hella", Kyle moving to San Fran

The references to "hella", Kyle moving to San Francisco, the episode on the hobos...What is so special about the Bay Area, SPS?

Answer

For starters, your smug is kinda all up in our business...so we're only left with one choice: Rip on you. But to your credit, I find the whole "farting in wine glasses" thing to be incredibly awesome.

Question:

.....heck, I'll ask again. Do you guys offer South Park Studio Tours? Thanks once again.

Answer

Sorry buddy, we don't. We like to keep things on the DL here. But honestly, it's for the best -- ManBearPig doesn't do well with strangers...he'd probably freak out and eat someone.

Question:

Love South Park. The Facebook satire was awesome, and while browsing Facebook the other day, I noticed that there was a Kip page (also a Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick page). Is that offical? If it is, do any of the other characters have offical pages (endorsed or made by Matt and Trey?)

Answer

Oh yeah, this Kip page is official alright. If you can believe it, there was a bee in his room a couple weeks ago. A few of the other boys actually do have Facebook accounts as well -- Kenny, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Butters all got sucked in.

Question:

May 13, 2010 - Dear Mr. FAQ, I have a question. Is the episode "

Dear Mr. FAQ, I have a question. Is the episode "people call me ginger" watch-able?? If so, where do I find it?

Answer

I think the clip you're talking about is this one, and that actually wasn't from an episode at all. It was just a promo we did for Season 14. If you're looking for the episode where Cartman becomes ginger though, it's right here.

Question:

May 13, 2010 - Hey faq dude, who is your favorite South Park char

Hey faq dude, who is your favorite South Park character?

Answer

Well, that's a tough one. When you're this close to the show, picking a favorite character is like picking your favorite child when you have a billion cool kids. But if I had to, an old-school favorite is Sexual Harassment Panda. I also really love Lemmiwinks, Kyle's Cousin Kyle, ManBearPig, and Rob Schneider as The Carrot. And since I know it's gonna be asked, my favorite episode would probably be "D-Yikes!" (1106) or "Chinpoko Mon" (310). Although "Smug Alert" (1002), "Good Times With Weapons" (801), "Cancelled" (704), and "Here Comes the Neighborhood" (512) would all give it a run for it's money on any given day.

Question:

May 13, 2010 - So I was at the movies watching "Back-up Plan" wit

So I was at the movies watching "Back-up Plan" with Jennifer Lopez and, for a moment, thought I was watching South Park since both J-Lo and the Dog Whisperer were in there!! I didn't know that guy was real!!! Which episode was that again?

Answer

There is so much wrong with that statement. The Back-Up Plan? Really?? Tsst! No KFC or XBOX for you. TSST!!

Ok, now that you're calm and submissive, we can talk. The Dog Whisper episode is called "Tsst" and it's from Season 10 (and for the record, yes, he's real and his name is Cesar Millan). And in case you wondering, the original J-Lo episode is "Fat Butt and Pancake Head," and that's from Season 7.

Question:

May 12, 2010 - Dear Fack: A few of my friends fail to see the sat

Dear Fack: A few of my friends fail to see the satirical nature of South Park, and compare the show to Family Guy. Exactly how should I smite them?

Answer

Apple juice fart torture.

Question:

Who is the voice of Mimzy?

Answer

Trey actually did the voice for both Mimsy and Nathan. Pretty good, ay boss?

Question:

May 12, 2010 - What are the main episodes where we see Craig give

What are the main episodes where we see Craig give people the bird? I need to see the episode where his whole family goes on a flipping spree. Please Help

Answer

That main episode would be "Tweek vs. Craig" (304) -- it has that clip you're talking about (with Craig's family flipping eachother off). There's also this clip of Craig in Mr. Mackey's office from "Rainforest Schmainforest" which might be Craig's best work to date.

Question:

May 05, 2010 - Did season 14 end?

Did season 14 end?

Answer

Nope, but our 1st run of seven shows did. As I've mentioned before, we do two show runs a year, 7 episodes each, for 14 total in the season. New episodes start up again in the fall (mid-October), but don't you worry, we'll have enough kick ass content on SPS to keep you entertained the whole summer.

Question:

May 05, 2010 - Dear mr. FAQ guy, I want to know who is Mysterion

Dear mr. FAQ guy, I want to know who is Mysterion and how come i cant watch the shows on this site in Australia? This is the third time asking, its cool i know your busy

Answer

Oi Oi Oi! Well, you've got two questions there -- one's easy to answer, and the other doesn't have an answer. I'll go with the latter first: We don't know who Mysterion is. That's something only Matt and Trey know, but they haven't told any of the crew. Even in the scripts, he was very elusively described. Hopefully they won't make us wait 13 years to find out the answer like they did for Cartman's father.

As for your Australia question, unfortunately we cannot stream full episodes Down Under because of legal restrictions and contractual mumbo-jumbo. We're working on trying to fix that, so keep your fingers crossed.

Question:

May 05, 2010 - DEAR FAQ-er... haha, I'm sure you've answered this

DEAR FAQ-er... haha, I'm sure you've answered this a thousand times but I cannot find the answer: Is it true there is an alien in every episode?

Answer

In EVERY episode?? No way. But the Visitors are there quite a bit -- sometimes right in plain sight, sometimes with something as hidden as a little Visitor doodle (look on the top right of Butters' pimpin' schedule).

Question:

May 04, 2010 - Who is Cartman's father??

Who is Cartman's father??

Answer

SPOLIER ALERT: If you want to know, read on. If you want to see this with your own eyes, don't read on and find someone with "201" on DVR. Cartman's father is....Jack Tenorman. He was a member of the Denver Broncos, and more importantly, he was Scott Tenorman's father. Jack Tenorman got a little bored one week and had sex with Cartman's mother at the Drunken Barn Dance. Which of course makes Scott and Eric half-brothers. And that also means Cartman ground-up his own father and fed it to his half-brother. Damn. That's pretty f***ed up right there.

Question:

May 04, 2010 - Hey guys, i was just wondering in the episode "Med

Hey guys, i was just wondering in the episode "Medicinal Fried Chicken," why wasn't Towelie anywhere to be found? He likes to get high.

Answer

Because there was a sale on computer duster at the Supply Max and he was walking on sunshine.

Question:

May 04, 2010 - When will you show the winner of the Season 14 gra

When will you show the winner of the Season 14 grand prize, who will be shown on SP?

Answer

That lucky bastard's name is Matthew Klinner, and he was already shown! He was animated into the intro of the broadcast version of episode 1401, as we mentioned and promoted in the contest and before the episode aired. In fact, we also sent Matthew an epic, framed version of himself in the show signed by Matt and Trey.

Question:

May 04, 2010 - Curious: In the latest episode when Jimmy and Timm

Curious: In the latest episode when Jimmy and Timmy go to camp, are their camp mates based on/off other cartoon characters? I could have sworn I saw Elmer Fudd, Droopy and Alf. Am I thinking too hard and looking to deep?

Answer

Dear Curious, your observations are right on point. There was definitely some parodies of old school Looney Tunes characters in there. Look for Elmer Fudd, Buzzard, Droopy, Pete Puma, Porky, and even a Sylvester. And of course, Nathan and Mimsy are an homage to the awesome duo Rocky and Mugsy. But you were wrong about one thing, there was no Alf. He's a puppet, not a cartoon. So I guess all-in-all, you were only half-right. Does that make you Bi-Curious?
