Hey that was OUR bush!
"That's My Bush" Timothy Bottoms (George Dubbya) is going to be playing
George Bush again, only this time he's serious. In a new Showtime film
about the days just after 9/11, "DC 9/11" will be a behind-the-scenes look
at Bush in the days following the terrorist attacks. The film's producers
are also in talks with "24" star Penny Johnson to play National Security
Advisor Condoleeza Rice, and "Star Trek" alum George Takei (Mr. Sulu) as
Secretary of Transportation, Norman Mineta.

Things are quite magical this season with Cartman traveling through
time and South Park's 100th episode just around the corner!
Cartman shines this season as he represents the United States
in a youth-oriented mock UN, sponsored by Michael Jackson.
In other episodes, Cartman travels back in time to face-off
with the country's founding fathers and, if that weren't enough
for the average fourth grader, he's forced to deal with the pressures
of stardom when one of his body parts becomes too famous for its own good.
Not to be outstaged by the big-boned one, when Jimmy and Timmy feel
they aren't getting the respect they deserve, they join the "Crips."
And finally, in a horrifying holiday episode, "South Park" explores
the origins of every child's darkest fantasy, the Easter Bunny.

New Office Photos
You get a preview of the shoot with Access Hollywood. Pat O'Brien and
his camera crew covered a small pre-celebration of our 100th episode. We
carved up this amazing replica of the main street in South Park , (yes it's a cake)! All the buildings,
except for the tallest one, were made out of cake, (each one a different flavor).
The tallest building and the mountains were Styrofoam covered in icing... mmmm. This really talented company, Cake and Art, were
hired to recreate the town in cake and icing. Take a look at the pictures I snapped of the event, click here. Enjoy!

Matt Groening gives South Park a nice plug
The Calgary Sun talked with Simpsons creator Matt Groening about a
much-rumoured feature film, which Groening confirms
he is working on. "We're talking about doing it. We just want to make sure,
if we do, it doesn't follow in the dismal footsteps of other
currently-running TV shows turned into movies. I can only think of
one that worked and that was South Park," he says.

Episode 704 "Cancelled" sounds are now ready for download. Please click here.
I've been getting a lot of emails about why the episodes are airing out of order. Charles Song
former assistant to the producer here at South Park wrote a nice explanation a while back.
Certain episodes of South Park air out of order. Like episode #501, "Scott Tenorman must Die,"
was the fourth episode to air the 5th season after Episodes #502 to #504.
Wondering why don't they just renumber the episodes?
At the beginning of a run of episodes, Matt and Trey meet with the writers to brainstorm
ideas. For example, at the start of the fourth season they
came back with ideas for the first four episodes, the titles of
which would end with the tag "2000". As the script was delivered to the Storyboard
and Production departments, they were given an episode number. From that
point on, everything associated with that episode has to have the same number,
so not confuse anyone.

What does Kenny say?
I've been getting many emails and FAQs about what Kenny says in the beginning of the new 7th season's intro.
Here's what Matt and Trey had to say.
Q: Hey guys, what does Kenny say in the introduction to the 7th season?
Matt: Um... f*ck I can't remember! I think it was...
Trey: No we're not telling, we're keeping it a secret!
Matt: Yeah just tell them we forgot.
Trey: No we didn't forget, we're keeping it a secret for ONE YEAR!
Matt: Haha! Yeah tell them that!
So all of you are just going to have to try and figure it out for yourselves. Fortunately I've put the
whole theme song available for download by clicking here so you can play it over and over!
