Welcome back staffers!
Today is the first day back from hiatus for the South Park staff, I'd like to give them all a fond hello and welcome back, I would also like to curse them all for taking all the good parking spots. Trey gave us a brief run down of what is going to happen these next few weeks for the eight new episodes we will be producing. So far, there is no news on any Holiday Episodes, or news on what is really going to happen for the second leg of the seventh season. According to Trey we will be doing a lot of shows on fart, poop, and people getting beaten up... sounds like Matt and Trey are back to their old tricks, I know I'm looking forward to the new season. As soon as I get any kind of information on the new episode, I will post it.

South Park Returns with Eight New Episodes
Mark your calendars marklars and don't forget that eight all-new episodes of South Park begin airing on October 22nd at 10:00p.m.

Launching the second half of the seventh series, episode 708 entitled "South Park is gay!" has the whole town joining the hip new homosexual craze. Suddenly, it's cool to be gay! Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny go head to head with the other kids to see who can be the "gayest," while Mr. Garrison responds with, "If straight people are gonna steal our culture, then us REAL gays are just gonna have to step it up a notch!"

Later on in the season, the boys take on Rob Reiner and the anti-smoking hysteria and explore the issue of the elderly and their apparent vendetta against farmer's markets.

The 6th Annual Halloween Costume Contest

Brand New South Park Airs Wednesday
Well boys and girls, the wait is finally over! Starting this Wednesday at 10:00pm Comedy Central will begin airing eight ALL-NEW South Park Episodes beginning with "South Park is Gay!" Launching the second half of the seventh series, episode 708 has the whole town joining the hip new homosexual craze. Suddenly, it's cool to be gay! The 6th Annual Halloween Costume Contest
I've gotten a few emails from people asking me if it would be OK for them to use something other than the images we've provided as a base for their costume entries. If you feel that you can successfully pull it off go for it! You do not need to use the images provided, they're simply there to help you out. Also, I've been having some problems downloading the .bmp format. If it is at all possible please try to convert your image files into a .gif or .jpg. Those of you who sent in your entries as a .bmp may consider perhaps re-sending them since a lot of the files I've received with that extension have arrived corrupted. Keep in mind when your are making your entries, that you use all original images. Simply cutting a characters head off and pasting it on to a real persons body will not work, entries like that will be disqualified. If you can make the image look completely different than the original "real-life" picture, then that is acceptable. Once more, make sure all your art is original (which means made by you), or you will be a sad panda. Don't forget you all have an October 30th deadline to get them in so hurry! Christian Rock Hard
Cartman, Butters and Token rocket to the top of the Christian rock charts with their own messages of faith in an all-new episode, entitled "Christian Rock Hard." When the other boys kick Cartman out of their band, Cartman pulls his own group together to make music for Jesus. Meanwhile, Stan, Kyle and Kenny are arrested for downloading music from the Internet. (Title subject to change)

Halloweeny
Don't forget that you all have an October 30th deadline for your Halloween entries. Any image received after midnight on October 30th will be disqualified. Winners will be posted on Monday, November 3rd. Remember, you must use all your own original artwork. C'mon people, be creative! Also, for those of you who have sent their entries in .bmp format. You may want to re-send the images as a .jpg or .gif, most of the files I have received with that format have arrived corrupted. Please note that the contest@southparkstudios.com email address is NOT a place to ask questions or to write a three page reason why you think you need to win this year. Just send me the email with the attachment and maybe a couple of lines describing what costume your character is in.

Midnight tonight is the deadline for you to get your Halloween contest images in. Any image received after midnight will be disqualified. Winners will be posted on Monday, November 3rd. Don't forget that I'm having problems with the .bmp files. Some of you still have been sending them to me and they're still arriving corrupted. Also, the contest is not for people outside the United States... and yes, that even means Canada, since the last time I checked, Canada wasn't part of the States. The winner is required to provide ID to prove that they are over 18, those of you who cannot provide ID will be disqualified.

Grey Dawn
The Senior Citizens of South Park rise up in protest when their driver's licenses are revoked in an all-new episode, entitled "Grey Dawn," premiering Wednesday, November 5th at 10:00 p.m.

After the seniors have mowed down more than a few farmer's markets, South Park residents no longer feel it's safe to be out in the streets. With their well being at stake, the boys decide to take action against the older generation. Unwilling to surrender their licenses, the elderly enlist the help of one of the most powerful organizations in Washington.
