The South Park E-Lections are BACK!

In one of the most important election years in our nation's history it's every patriotic American's duty to vote. And no election is more important than South Park class president! Viewers will campaign for class president candidates, the winning candidate will be featured in a strip of episodes airing the week of August 30th.

Voters will be able to choose from a list of Potential Class Presidents that range from the liberal Wendy Testaburger to the eccentric Eric Cartman. The winner of the class Presidency shall get an entire week of South park Episodes just about them!

Voting beings on August 3rd and will take place until the 24th. Southparkstudios.com will be hosting the E-Lection so keep coming back for more up-to-date news!

Start a Campaign!
Hey everyone, as you all know, soon the South Park E-Lections are coming to Southparkstudios.com and each of you will be able to have a chance to vote on which character you want an entire week of South Park to be devoted to! Each kid will be running for class President, and beginning August 3rd we will open the polls and you can all cast your vote!

South Park Figures
Looks like the people over at Toyzz.com have some cool South Park figures on sale. Some of you may remember that I posted a while back about these figures, mentioning that for some reason the company put out a set of figures that had Butters with the Underpants Gnomes, instead of Tweek. Well, it looks like they've fixed the problem, although I think some of the mismatched sets did get sold to a very confused South Parkian public.

Toyzz.com seems to have the correct version of this two pack, for a somewhat decent price. If you're a bit low on the money supply, I don't suggest you buy these. For now, all you spoiled little rich kids, and you nerdy "don't care how much it costs 'cos I'm a freakin' collector" types can purchase all of these puppies so check them out.



Now, this other material possession is a bit strange, it's a mini-pack of South Park characters containing Stan, Cartman, Kyle, and... no, not Kenny, but Butters and Mr. Hankey (Mr. Hankey is the only off scale character, making him about the size of a South Park teenager in this package). Why they decided to put Butters in the four pack that OBVIOUSLY should contain a Kenny, we'll never know, maybe it's the same braniac that decided to put Butters with the Gnomes?

BBS Poster Launches Campaign Site
StaniaMarsh, is one of the posters on our BBS launched a new website the other day campaigning for Stan Marsh as Class President. YES! There will be trivia this Friday, aren't you all so happy? I bet you are! This Friday, July 16th 3:00pm/6:00pm (west/east) southparkstudios.com will be hosting yet another one of our famously frustrating trivia games! This weeks prize... a WENDY Costume! This costume kit contains Wendy's famous hat, mittens and purple pull over coat. Now you can make Stan sick, then break up with him! The costume does not include a mask, and is one size fits most.

On the Campaign Trail
Two new sites have popped up overnight adding to the "official" campaign sites for the up and coming Class Presidential Election. I hope the people dedicated to their candidates are willing to give their campaign workers some punch and pie once this is all over! Anyone working on a Cartman site? I'm surprised no one has posted on the BBS yet.

Cartman's Campaign launches full force

Well, right after I mentioned that there were no campaign sites dedicated to Cartman a fan came from the swampy underbelly of the internet to provide me with some. Now, should I mention that there are a few other candidates that lack their own sites, or should I let the masses of incredibly intelligent South Parkians get my little hint to hurry it up? Know what I mean, nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more!

A new article from FilmForce.com has a couple of images from Matt and Trey's new side project, Team America. It also states that Team America may be out by October 2004. We're not sure if this date is set, we'll keep you posted. Click here to see the whole article.

Now taking pre-orders for the Passion of the Jew DVD



After finally seeing "The Passion," Kyle has to admit that Cartman has been right all along about the Jews role in history. Inspired by Kyle's change of heart and a powerful love for Mel Gibson, Cartman incites many of the film's hardcore fans to band together and carry out its message. Meanwhile, Stan and Kenny also see the movie and embark upon a quest to find Mel Gibson.

Ahhh, FIGURES!
And of course, those wonderful figures you all have been seeing on Toyzz.com are available in the store, and for even lower prices. The sets in the Comedy Central store are the ones that have Butters with the underpants gnome. Still no news on how, or why that happened so stop e-mailing and sending in FAQs asking how I could have possible had the audacity to make this. Oooohh, click here!

They also mentioned to me that there will be T-Shirts and buttons available for the E-Lection campaign beginning in August.

Team America Strikes at Comic-Con
For those of you who were lucky and nerdy enough to make it down to Comic-Con this year may very well had your chance to see the sneak preview of Team America: World Police presented by Matt, Trey and Paramount Pictures. WORLD POLICE, HO! Looks like Matt, Trey and Paramount have finally official announced Team Americas launch in theaters. According to The Boston Herald, Team America will be in theaters this October. To read more, please clicka clicka.

Fall launch for Syndicated South Park
A while back we posted news about South Park re-run rights being sold to networks for syndication. Hopefully you will all remember that news like this does NOT mean South Park has been sold. Much like how the Cartoon Network plays episodes of Futurama and the Family Guy, South Park will be aired on a number of different stations, perhaps during prime time... details about that are still a bit sketchy. The show will be censored probably a wee bit more than it is on Comedy Central, and if you read this article here you will read something about a panel of network tie wearers who will be looking over said episodes to make sure it's "clean" enough for regular TV. Something tells me that in today's disturbing reality show era, a good lot of South Parks original content will remain intact.
